How to get to B&B Petit Prince ?
1. π You come by car to Ghent?
First put 'Nieuwewandeling' (or, if you come from Antwerp or the Netherlands, put 'Brugsepoortstraat') in your GPS and go there. After, enter 'Rabotstraat 41' in your GPS and go there.
Our house is located behind the tram stop on your left hand side - Rabotstraat 41, Gent.
What options do I have for Parking @ Petit Prince?
-Our private garage, 150 m from the house, 25 € for 1 night and 15 euro extra for every extra night is often available. Please send us a mail to check if we can help you with it.
-A safe and quick option for a one night stay is parking Ramen, at a walking distance of more or less 4 min.
-a cheap option for people with a longer stay and not too much luggage is parking Indigo neo, you walk about 9 minutes and you can book it on www.indigoneo.be
-The nearest Park & Ride is at the watersportbaan, there is a free shuttle every 15 minutes between 9.00 and 16.00(every 30 minutes from 16.00 until 24.00). The distance to the shuttle bus depends on the availability of places.
-There is a limited parking possibility (max 3 hours) in the first part of our street, fee has increased since 1 april 2026 as we became a red zone, but at the second part of our street, passing the Basseveldestreet at your left, we have the cheaper orange zone (2,2 € per hour and 1,8 € in the night, but with a max of 5 hours during daytime)
Reach our Parking
Our private garage is situated in the Burgstraat, (big P on the map below) take the little entrance, right next to the Koolsteeg, at the right of the brown pillar. You will need our key to open the gate, put it in the key box at the left of the big gate. The garage is at the bottom, nr 10.
You will need the key to go out, there is another key box at your left when leaving. The gate closes automatically.

2.π You come with Public Transport to Ghent?

Public transport to B&B Petit Prince is quite easy.
Leave the main train station Gent Sint-Pieters through the entrance gate leading to the centre. At your right you see the Princess Clementina laan, in the beginning of that street you see a tramstop. Take tram 4, it will take you in 20 min to the stop 'Rabot' , you can pay with your credit card on the tram. From that stop you walk 2-3 min to Petit Prince.

3. π You take a taxi from the station?
By 'taxi 'from the main train station Gent Sint-Pieters, it takes about 10 minutes and costs about 15 or 20 EUR.
4. π΄ You come by bike or bring your bike ?
You can park your bike for free ( on demand ) in our income hall or if more than 3 bikes, you can put them attached in the street with a lock or you can rent our private garage for max. security (5 € per bike if 5 bikes e.g.)
